The small town of Bruton is just a few miles from the A303 road and is easily accessible from the accommodation at Clanville Manor.

It is situated on the banks of the River Brue, 12 miles west of Frome and 10 miles from Gillingham.

The town is incredibly rich in history, with centuries’ of interesting architecture, including a number of impressive mediaeval buildings and notable mention in the Domesday Book.
