Rob and Sally Snook
Rob is the fourth generation of Snooks to farm here since 1898 when his great-grandfather bought the farm. Now that the dairy herd have been sold Rob runs the farm almost single handedly and is rearing a suckler herd of Hereford beef. He rears them individually and the herd has a reputation for being extremely quiet and easy to handle because they are subjected to as little stress as possible.
Sally qualified as an SRN in London and was a Theatre Nurse whilst bringing up her two sons who are now in their twenties. She started running the B&B and the first self-catering cottage in 1996 and has spent the last ten years improving standards and trying to anticipate the needs of her guests. More than 30% of our business is repeat so we must be doing something right!
